Pembrokeshire Climbing Clubs Rules

1. Membership

1.1. Membership is granted at the discretion of the Committee

1.2.There are three types or membership:

1.2.1. Adult - open to anyone 18 years of age or over.

1.2.2. Family - open to any family with children, or same address couples. Please refer to section 3.5 of the constitution for further clarification of this rule.

1.2.3. Climbing family - Under 10s are only admitted if their parent is an active climbing member.

1.3.Membership is due annually on January 1.

1.4.Attention of members is drawn to the Club’s constitution section 3 regarding membership.

2. Annual General Meetings (AGM)

2.1.The AGM will be held annually in October.

2.2.At the AGM the following business will be conducted: - The Annual Report. The Audited Accounts. The Election of Officers. Alteration of Rules.

Any Other Business (see section 2.3)

2.3.Any Other Business must be passed to the Secretary, in writing, not less than 21 days prior to the AGM.

2.4.Family members under the age of 18 are not entitled to vote at AGM.

3. Meets

3.1. New members and under 18’s must attend our early evening indoor sessions unless deemed competent or at the discretion of our Safety Officers/Committee.

3.2.Attending outdoor sessions will not be permitted unless the member has attended a Club abseiling session or at the discretion of our Safety Officers/Committee.

4. Liability

4.1.The club will not accept liability for any injury, loss or damage to members or third parties, their property or equipment.
